Joey King & Jacob Elordi Dish On That Surprising 'The Kissing Booth 2' Ending (Spoilers)

The Kissing Booth 2 is out on Netflix now and the stars are spilling the tea!

Joey King, Jacob Elordi and Joel Courtney all reprise their roles in the sequel to the hit first movie.

In TKB2, Elle Evans (King) just had the most romantic summer of her life with her reformed bad-boy boyfriend Noah Flynn (Elordi). But now Noah is off to Harvard, and Elle heads back to high school for her senior year.

She’ll have to juggle a long-distance relationship, getting into her dream college with her best friend Lee (Courtney), and the complications brought on by a close friendship with a handsome, charismatic new classmate named Marco (Taylor Zakhar Perez).

When Noah grows close to a seemingly-perfect college girl (Maisie Richardson-Sellers), Elle will have to decide how much she trusts him and to whom her heart truly belongs.

Joey and Jacob recently dished on the shocking ending to the movie. Click inside to see what they said (warning: spoilers ahead)…

After graduation, Elle told Noah and Lee that she got put on the wait list for both Berkeley and Harvard, but in reality, she actually got accepted to both. Getting the acceptance letters for the school she vowed to go to with her best friend, and the school that her boyfriend goes to, puts her in a difficult decision.

“She’s really good at getting herself into a pickle, that’s for sure,” Joey told ET. “Elle Evans is notorious for trying to make everybody happy, which in turn, the way she goes about it, makes everybody mad in the long run, including herself.”

“Elle has a lot of figuring out to do, and she figures out a lot during this movie. And then, in the end, she gives herself even more figuring out to do, which is crazy,” she added. “We don’t know what’s going to happen… I don’t know why she does that.”

“She’s scared to tell either of them because it’s such a difficult decision,” Jacob also told ET. “She probably feels a lot of pressure from both parties, which is just unfortunate.”
