More Details About Why Jake Paul's Home Was Searched By Authorities

Jake Paul‘s home in California was raided by authorities on Wednesday (August 5) and now more details are being revealed.

According to the 23-year-old YouTuber’s attorney, he was out of state when the search took place.

“We understand that a search warrant was executed at Jake‘s Calabasas home this morning while Jake was out-of-state. We are still gathering information and will cooperate with the investigation,” the attorney told TMZ.

Jake‘s friend Armani Izadi‘s Graffiti Mansion, where Jake and Tana Mongeau “got married,” was also searched by authorities that same day.

As for Jake‘s Calabasas, Calif., home, many guns were seized and taken from the property.

The FBI released a statement confirming that the searches were in connection to the Scottsdale, Ariz., looting.

“The FBI is investigating allegations of criminal acts surrounding the incident at Scottsdale Fashion Square in May 2020. This morning the FBI executed federal search warrants in California and Las Vegas, Nevada in connection with this investigation. The search warrant affidavits are sealed and we are, therefore, prohibited from commenting further,” they said.

The Scottsdale PD has reportedly dropped the misdemeanor charges against Jake as the FBI investigates, but they could bring them back to him after the investigation is over.
