Noah Cyrus Cries In New Video While Reacting To Her First Grammy Nomination

Noah Cyrus got super emotional when she found out that she was nominated for a 2021 Grammy Award!

The 20-year-old singer is up for Best New Artist at the show, which is her first Grammy nomination.

Noah shared her reaction video on Instagram, where she broke down in tears upon hearing the news.

“IM A GRAMMY NOMINATED ARTIST!!! i’m in a puddle of tears in bed after being woken up and told IM NOMINATED AS BEST NEW ARTIST,” Noah captioned her post. “my mom at the beginning of the year wrote in her intensions book for me to be nominated for a grammy… mom you’ve always been and are my biggest fan. thank u i love you so much.”

“thank you to my team and my cyrens. @zachkardisch you go above and beyond for me and you’re the best manager and friend/brother to me. thank you to everyone that took part in the making of The End of Everything EP. thank you PJ for always being there for me and making me feel like my best self as a person and artist. thank you beyond measures to the recording academy for listening and truly hearing my music. this is such an honor and i am in utter shock. thank you so much from the bottom of my heart i truly can’t believe it my mind is going a thousand miles a minute and i am beyond grateful and full of love and gratitude. i know my grandma is looking down on me and this is from her. thank you mammie i wish you could be here for this 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍”

She joins her dad Billy Ray Cyrus and sister Miley Cyrus in the feat. Billy Ray has been nominated seven times throughout his career, winning his first two for “Old Town Road” with Lil Nas X earlier this year. Miley was nominated in 2015 for Best Pop Vocal Album for Bangerz.

Chloe x Halle were also nominated for three awards this year – Best Traditional R&B Performance for “Wonder What She Thinks of Me,” Best Progressive R&B Album for Ungodly Hour, and Best R&B Song for “Do It.” They’re even up against their mentor Beyonce, who also signed the girls to her management company, in the Best R&B Song category!

Dua Lipa shared her reaction after being nominated for SIX awards – Record of the Year, Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album for Future Nostalgia, Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance for “Don’t Start Now,” and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Un Dia” with J Balvin, Bad Bunny and Tainy.
