Selena Gomez, Madelaine Petsch & Lily Collins Win Honors at PETA's Libby Awards

Selena Gomez has won quite the new honor!

The 28-year-old actress’ Rare Beauty has been awarded the Favorite Vegan Makeup Line at PETA’s 2020 Libby Awards.

The Libby Awards celebrate celebrities, brands and companies for their commitment to animals.

Madelaine Petsch also won an award for Favorite Post for Animals, for her Instagram story post about reminding people that in regards to Tiger King, “these animals belong in the wild,” and “cubs are ripped away from their mothers at such young ages to be used in this capacity.”

Lily Collins received the Most Pawsitive Quarantine Story award for adopting her pup Redford from an animal shelter.

Grayson Dolan won Most Inspiring Act of Kindness to Animals for rescuing a drowning duckling from a lake, and Lizzo won Favorite Vegan Cooking Videos for her “good as hell” TikTok creations.

“These compassionate celebrities didn’t let the pandemic stop them from walking the walk when it comes to kindness to animals,” Marta Holmberg, PETA Senior Director of Youth Programs, said. “PETA is honoring the superstars who are leading by example and proving that helping animals can be as simple as whipping up jackfruit enchiladas or buying a vegan lipstick.”
