Taylor Swift's Fans Flood 'Ginny & Georgia' With Negative Reviews After She Calls The Show Out For Sexist 'Joke'

Swifties are quick!

Taylor Swift took to Twitter on Monday (March 1) to slam the Netflix series Ginny & Georgia for a comment they made about her.

In the series, there’s a moment where one of the characters says, “What do you care? You go through men faster than Taylor Swift.”

Taylor responded to this “joke” and called it “lazy, deeply sexist.”

“Hey Ginny & Georgia, 2010 called and it wants its lazy, deeply sexist joke back. How about we stop degrading hard working women by defining this horse sh*t as FuNnY. Also, @netflix after Miss Americana this outfit doesn’t look cute on you 💔 Happy Women’s History Month I guess,” she wrote on Twitter.

After Taylor slammed the series, which is currently the No 1 show on Netflix in the US, and the streaming service, thousands of her fans went to Google and left negative reviews on the show. At the time of this post, the show has a 1.5 audience rating on Google, with over 9k reviews, a majority of them giving it a one star.

This isn’t the first time that Ginny & Georgia has faced backlash. Just last week, many were calling out the show for another scene.
