Sabrina Carpenter Honors Trans Youth With 'Skin' Performance at GLAAD Awards

Sabrina Carpenter “took the stage” for a beautiful performance at the 2021 GLAAD Awards on Thursday night (April 8).

The 21-year-old singer and actress sang her latest single “Skin” in a tribute to trans youth.

“so honored to have gotten to perform at the @glaad awards๐Ÿณ๏ธโ€๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿ’š,” Sabrina shared on Twitter afterward.

Also performing during the ceremony was Rebecca Black, who performed her track “Girlfriend.”

“in my high drag era. thank u again @glaad for having me yesterday and to the team who pulled this off w me ๐Ÿค,” she captioned a post on Instagram.

During the GLAAD Awards, Demi Lovato introduced the Glee cast, who honored their late co-star Naya Rivera and her character Santana Lopez. Watch the emotional video here!
