Thomas Doherty Reveals Past Jobs & Which One Was 'F-ing Great'

Thomas Doherty is dishing on his old jobs!

The 26-year-old actor opened up about what jobs he’s had in the past in a new feature with Interview Magazine.

“I’ve done loads of jobs. I used to be a paperboy and then I worked in a call center, I worked in TJ Maxx and American Hollister. I was also a maid for a while [in Edinburgh],” he told the publication. “It was really funny because it was all these like 50-plus Polish women who were the other maids and I was 17.”

“It was really not interesting. It was the worst thing and I used to get fucked up on a Friday and I’d be working on a Saturday,” he continued about being a maid. “I used to have to clean all these rooms and beds—so I used to go for a sleep. When I was cleaning the rooms, I’d give myself like five minutes in each room to sleep.”

Thomas then added that he couldn’t get a job in a bar due to lack of experience, but he eventually did find luck – at a gay bar.

“No one would hire me because I didn’t have any experience in a bar. And I was like, ‘I know where I’ll get a job.’ So I started working in a gay bar,” he shared. “It was f–king great. I loved it. It was so good. Good music, loads of tips. Can’t complain.”

If you didn’t know, the legal drinking age in Edinburgh, where he’s from, is 18 years old, and you can work in a bar there under 18, as long as they are supervised.
