High School Musical: The Musical: The Series season two is less than two days away and Disney+ just dropped a brand new teaser!

The streaming service debuted the new video clip on Wednesday afternoon (May 12), and it centers on Olivia Rodrigo‘s character Nini.

In season two, after Nini gets accepted to the actor’s conservatory in Colorado, she’s pulled away from her friends, and of course Ricky.

HSMTMTS kicks off THIS Friday (May 14) with the first episode of the season, “New Year’s Eve.”

Here’s a synopsis: Flying high after the triumph of opening night, Ricky, Nini, Gina, and the Wildcats gather at Ashlyn’s for a New Year’s Eve party. Miss Jenn runs into the new North High rival theatre teacher – a.k.a her ex-boyfriend – and at the stroke of midnight, shocking revelations come to the surface.

In the episode, we get to see the “Something In The Air” musical number, and we get to meet Derek Hough‘s new character, Zack. Learn more about him here!
