OlderDisney Is Reportedly Already Working on a 'Cruella' Sequel, 1 Week After Release!

It’s being reported that Disney has already put up a sequel in very early development, just one week after the movie hit theaters and Disney+ Premier Access.
THR reports that director Craig Gillespie and screenwriter Tony McNamara are expected to return for the follow up.
“We are very pleased with Cruella’s box office success, in conjunction with its strong Disney+ Premier Access performance to date,” a Disney spokesperson told the site. “The film has been incredibly well received by audiences around the world, with a 97% Audience Score on Rotten Tomatoes in addition to A’s in every demographic from CinemaScore on opening weekend, ranking it among the most popular of our live-action reimaginings. We look forward to a long run as audiences continue to enjoy this fantastic film.”
Cruella is going into it’s second weekend and has already brought in $48.5 million globally!
The movie of course stars Emma Stone, Emma Thompson, Joel Fry, Paul Walter Hauser, Emily Beecham, Kirby Howell-Baptiste and Mark Strong.
