Kelsey Chow steps out at Variety‘s 2011 Power Of Youth event presented by The Hub at Paramount Studios on Saturday afternoon (October 22) in Hollywood.
The 20-year-old actress stopped to chat with JJJ on the carpet and when we got to the subject of our book club, she was stumped!
Kelsey shared, “‘A Walk in the Woods’ by Bill Bryson and ‘The Painted House’ by John Grisham are two of my favorites. I’m in the middle of ‘The Paris Review’ which is an excellent collection of short stories too, but I’m always looking for new things to read.”
“The fans need to send me some suggestions,” Kelsey added.

Isabelle Fuhrman and Amandla Stenberg keep it cute in coral tones at Variety‘s 2011 Power Of Youth event presented by The Hub at Paramount Studios on Saturday afternoon (October 22) in Hollywood.
The two actresses were joined by The Hunger Games co-star Willow Shields, who plays Primrose in the upcoming movie out in March 2012.
Amandla is also pictured at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial dedication at West Potomac Park last weekend in Washington, D.C.

Caroline Sunshine and Adam Irigoyen step out at Variety‘s 2011 Power Of Youth event presented by The Hub at Paramount Studios on Saturday afternoon (October 22) in Hollywood.
The Shake It Up costars had something really exciting to share with JustJaredJr.com when they found us — they’re hitting the recording studio together!
“We actually re-made the song ‘Roam’ and it’s Caroline‘s song. We’re just there backing her up [in the video]. I’m excited to see the whole thing and she did an amazing job,” Adam tells us about their collaboration.
Caroline added, “Adam and I just have so much fun together and we thought it would be even more fun to take it to the studio a little bit…so we’ve been in the studio laying down some tracks. I’m really excited to hear it [the final cut], so I’m confirming that (laughs). This is true.”

Josie Loren, Cassie Scerbo, and Ayla Kell make it to the carpet at Variety‘s 2011 Power Of Youth event presented by The Hub at Paramount Studios on Saturday afternoon (October 22) in Hollywood.
JJJ was lucky enough to chat with Josie, 24, on the carpet about all the charities she’s involved in (there’s a lot!) and quickly figured out that she’s definitely a lifetime student.
“One of the charities I am involved in is called School on Wheels. We’re tutors to homeless children and it’s great because I have one child where I go to her once a week at the shelter and tutor her. It’s so gratifying. I learn so much more from her than she learns from me,” Josie said.”
Josie added, “I’m starting to realize that [a lifetime student]! I’m actually thinking of going back for a grad program. I haven’t researched it too much, but I do miss it. I miss the lectures and writing the essays. I’m such a nerd!”

Zendaya pops up her heel as she hits the carpet at Variety‘s 2011 Power Of Youth event presented by The Hub at Paramount Studios on Saturday afternoon (October 22) in Hollywood.
The 15-year-old actress chatted with JJJ on the special thing she did for her birthday last month.
“Instead of gifts, I had everyone who came to my party stuff backpacks,” Zendaya shared. “We’re actually donating these backpacks to a school right around the corner from the studio that we shoot at. I’m hoping we have enough backpacks for everyone in the school. It’s a small school, but we should have enough.”
What a way to give back!

Katie Leclerc beams on the pink carpet at Variety‘s 2011 Power Of Youth event presented by The Hub held at Paramount Studios on Saturday afternoon (October 22) in Hollywood.
The 24-year-old Switched at Birth star chatted it up with JJJ on the press line and told us something that no one else does — her new pup, Gus, is deaf!
“We found out after I actually got him,” Katie told us exclusively. “We were clapping our hands and trying to get him to wake up when he was sleeping and he wasn’t waking up. Now, we’re actually teaching him sign language to do all these things. He can sit really well.”
Katie added, “I love that dog so much. He’s so precious.”
Katie is also pictured inside at the 2011 Media Access Awards held at At The Beverly Hilton Hotel earlier this month. She presented an award to SAB exec producer Paul Stupin.

Greyson Chance hits the stage during Variety‘s 2011 Power Of Youth event presented by The Hub at Paramount Studios on Saturday afternoon (October 22) in Hollywood.
The 14-year-old musician told JJJ on the carpet, “When this opportunity came up, I jumped at it. I love anything Variety does, especially with the Power of Youth. We’re in this generation where we have to stand up.”
