Katy Perry has marked the Super Bowl as a permanent thing in her memory… and her body! The singer got a brand new tattoo after performing at the halftime show on Sunday (February 1) in Glendale, Ariz.
The 30-year-old singer posted photos on Instagram from her experience at the tattoo parlor, where she got the roman numerals XLIX tattooed on the inside of her finger.
“I thought it would be appropriate to draw blood tonight… XLIX ????,” Katy captioned the photo on her Instagram.

To kick off the show, Jimmy showed off a fun video he and The Roots made with celebs, in which they sang “We Are the Champions” a capella.
The 30-year-old singer performed for a full twelve minutes “Roar,” “Dark Horse,” “I Kissed a Girl” with Lenny Kravitz, “Teenage Dream,” “California Gurls,” “Get Your Freak On” and “Lose Control” with Missy Elliott, and finally “Firework” in a stunning outfit.
The 30-year-old singer shared her childhood dream the morning of the show (February 1), along with an adorable photo of herself as a kid.
“Today is for this girl,” Katy tweeted along with a photo of herself as a kid. “She had the dream, always believed in herself & her worth. Today she is the one smiling.”
Jordin Sparks wears glasses and still looks chic as can be while stepping out on stage at VH1 + Papa John’s Super Bowl Blitz – A Concert for the Troops on Friday (January 30) at Luke Air Force Base in Glendale, Ariz.
Idina will be performing the National Anthem at the big game this weekend, which Jordin did back in 2008, coincidentally in the same city and at the same stadium!

Katy Perry just posted a hilarious song that she’s teasing as a new song for the Super Bowl to all of her followers on Twitter!
“????SuPeR BoWl LeAk????” the 30-year-old superstar tweeted out to her fans, along with a link to the song.
The song sounds nothing like Katy‘s previous material and it is so funny. It even features some spoken word by her Super Bowl co-star Lenny Kravitz.
