Cassadee was joined on the carpet by country star Chris Young, her duet partner for their Grammy nominated song “Think of You.”
While this is Cassadee‘s first nomination, Chris previously received a nod for his song “Gettin’ You Home” in 2011.
FYI: Cassadee is wearing a Julia Clancey gown and carrying a Kate Spade clutch.
Camila Cabello looks like a legit princess while walking the red carpet at the 2017 Grammy Awards held at the Staples Center on Sunday (February 12) in Los Angeles.
The singer was all smiles while heading into the show, showing off her bell-shaped ball gown. Camila will be presenting at tonight’s show!
Frank Ocean announced that one of the reasons he won’t be attending is Taylor Swift‘s victory for Album of the Year last year.
Frank said he believed Kendrick Lamar‘s album should have been the Album of the Year winner, and Taylor‘s win was “hands down of the of most faulty TV moments I’ve seen.”
That despite Taylor has been nominated for 26 Grammys and won 10 (see which ones here.)
Meanwhile, the lack of even one nomination for Frank‘s two 2016 albums, Blonde and Endless, is the reason Kanye is sitting out the show this year. Back in October, Kanyemade the announcement he would not attend if Frank didn’t get nominated.
However, Frank‘s albums were deemed ineligible for this year’s Grammys, because they were not submitted by the deadline, according to the Grammys.

The only female artists to be nominated at the 2017 Grammy Awards for Best New Artist, are also country artists — and you need to be paying attention to them. There’s a reason they’re nominated.
Kelsea shared in a new interview about being nominated: “It’s the people that love music, do music, judge music, fight for music for a living, saying, ‘We’ve listened to 500 hundred new artists that are eligible this year and we think you’re one of the best five.’ That makes me feel cooler than I have ever felt in my life.”
She added, “I definitely feel like for any female, the odds weren’t necessarily in our favor…we were really maybe underrated a bit in the beginning because we were on this independent label.”
Maren, who is up for three other awards at the event, says the same: “I think it’s a huge step forward for people taking women into consideration because you have to have another perspective on the radio, and I think the Grammys have done a really great solid by recognizing quality art. And I think the girls really brought it this year.”
