Congrats to Bebe Rexha – the first winner for the 2018 Radio Disney Music Awards!
The 28-year-old singer was surprised during her concert this morning (June 22) on Good Morning America in New York City.
Bebe picked up The Freshest: Best New Artist and Mashup: Best Collaboration Ardys for her hit “Meant To Be” with Florida Georgia Line.
“This is like my first award that I got like this, it’s cool,” she shared during the program.

The popular South Korean boy band – composed of members Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook – filmed the segment for Radio Disney ahead of the 2018 Radio Disney Music Awards, where the guys are nominated in four different categories!
In the clip, they have to choose whether they would rather forget a lyric or mess up a dance move; win for Best Group or Fiercest Fans; watch the show together or with their families; walk the red carpet or dance at the after-party; hang out in their dressing room or with celebrities and more.

Laura Marano just booked a brand new hosting gig on Radio Disney and it’s all about the upcoming 2018 Radio Disney Music Awards!
JJJ can exclusively announce that the radio show will launch TODAY @ 5PM PT/8PM ET on Radio Disney and Laura, who performed at the 2016 awards, will be the first host.
RDMA Unlocked is a weekly hour-long show that will feature artists that have hosted, performed or attended past Radio Disney Music Awards.
The new program will air every Tuesday until June 19th, and give listeners with an inside look at memorable moments as past RDMA participants reflect on their experiences and share never-before-heard stories.
In the premiere broadcast, Laura will chat about her first broadcast performance, where she performed her debut single “Boombox,” and share her other favorite RDMA experiences throughout the years.

Meghan Trainor will be taking the stage at the 2018 Radio Disney Music Awards!
The 24-year-old “No Excuses” singer is the third performer announced, joining Charlie Puth and American Idol winner Maddie Poppe.
Meghan is also nominated for three RDMAs – The One – Best Artist, #SquadGoals – Fiercest Fans, So Happy – Best Song that Makes You Smile for “No Excuses.”
“I’m so honored to be nominated for these three incredible awards and I want to give a special shoutout to the Megatronz for being so fierce! I can’t wait to perform for everyone; we’ve got something very special for you,” she said in a statement.

Maddie Poppe is just living her best life right now.
Almost immediately after winning the latest season of American Idol, the 20-year-old musician was announced as a performer for the upcoming 2018 Radio Disney Music Awards!
And after a mini-press tour in New York City where she appeared on Live! with Kelly and Ryan and Good Morning America, Maddie had some time to reflect on her win on Instagram.
“I don’t even know what to say. I couldn’t have dreamt of a more perfect night,” Maddie starts off. “Thank you to all of America for believing in me when I didn’t even believe in myself. A year ago I was lost and uncertain how I would be able to make this happen for myself. I cried and worried and wondered if this dream would ever pan out for me.”
She adds, “So many times I contemplated giving up, but at the last second my saving grace came through when @americanidol dropped into my life. Not only has this show given me a platform to build my career on, but it has given me countless lifelong friends who I’ll love and cherish forever.”
Maddie also gave a sweet shoutout to boyfriend, and runner-up, Caleb Lee Hutchinson.
“This guy captured my heart from the start and showed me what love truly means,” Maddie says. “I’ve never cared for or adored another person so much, @calebleemusic you mean so much to me and I’m so blessed to be able to have had you alongside me throughout this journey and hopefully for many more moons to come, xo.”
