The 2020 Met Gala has been postponed indefinitely!
The annual fashion event usually takes place on the first Monday of May every year, and would have been TONIGHT (May 4).
Since there is no event this May, we thought we would look back on last year’s event!
The theme for the 2019 Met Gala was “Camp: Notes on Fashion” and there were some pretty great looks.
One of the most memorable was Zendaya‘s Cinderella gown that not only lit up, but also lifted the skirt to make a more extravagant ball gown.

Lili Reinhart had one major dream come true at the 2019 Met Gala this week.
The 23-year-old Riverdale star shared two life changing moments with her fans after walking the pink carpet at her second ball, alongside real life boyfriend, Cole Sprouse.
First, she met Lady Gaga!
“I met Lady Gaga yesterday and honestly got tongue tied. It was an incredible moment,” she shared.
Lili‘s co-star Camila Mendes revealed to W Mag that it was her goal to meet her at the ball.
“Lili texted to me today and she was like, ‘I’m gonna meet Lady Gaga today and so are you.’ We’re gonna make it happen,” Cami recalled. Goals!
Later on, Lili met another Riverdale fan in Rachel Brosnahan!
“Also Rachel Brosnahan said she loves Riverdale and that was pretty amazing???!!!!!!!!!????
Lana Condor‘s childhood dreams came true at the 2019 Met Gala!
The 21-year-old To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before actress shared her sentiments on social media the day after attending the night of fashion.
“When I was little, I’d get out of school on the first Monday of May, and I’d walk over and stand behind the gates watching the most beautiful women walk The Met Gala carpet… and disappear inside into, no doubt, a magical realm,” Lana wrote.
“Last night that magic became real. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make this huge dream of mine come true. I love you forever #MetGala #MetCamp @giambattistavalliparis,” she added.
Lana walked the carpet in a pink fluffy dress from Giambattista Valli Haute Couture dress. She even lost her purse in the dress at one point!
Camila Mendes and yellow might be our new favorite pairing!
The 24-year-old Riverdale starlet snapped a pic of her second look for her first ever Met Gala on Monday (May 6) in New York City.
After walking the pink carpet with boyfriend and actor Charles Melton, Camila switched up look for a one-shoulder, canary yellow dress from Prabal Gurung while heading to an after party.
During the event, Camila was seen partying with Lana Condor.
“Danced the night away with this angel lady…stunning boo,” Camila captioned on her Instagram Stories.

After the party is the after party!
Elle Fanning kept things chic, cute and sophisticated while striking a pose at Gucci‘s 2019 Met Gala After Party at the Hunter College Sportsplex on Monday night (May 6) in New York City.
The 21-year-old Teen Spirit star was joined at the after party bash by Grown-ish‘s Yara Shahidi, Ozark‘s Julia Garner, Cole Sprouse and girlfriend Lili Reinhart, and The Leftovers actress Margaret Qualley.
Elle also wore a custom Miu Miu outfit on the red carpet of the 2019 Met Gala alongside her boyfriend Max Minghella.
FYI: Elle is wearing head-to-toe Miu Miu. Julia is wearing Jimmy Choo shoes and clutch. Margaret is wearing Wempe jewelry.
Hailey Bieber and Bella Hadid stay so stylish!
The 22-year-old models were seen heading out in brand new outfits to attend the 2019 Met Gala after parties on Monday night (May 6) in New York City.

Bella rocked a hip-bearing gown for her Met Gala appearance before arriving to Harry Styles‘ after party in a cool, skin tight look later in the night. Hailey opted for a backless dress for the event, then switched into an oversized white shirt and sparkly shorts for her second look of the night.
The Met’s “Camp: Notes on Fashion” exhibit explores the origins of the camp aesthetic and how it has evolved to become an important influence on mainstream culture. Gucci’s creative director Alessandro Michele served as the co-chair of the gala.
Lana Condor had quite a memorable debut at the 2019 Met Gala on Monday (May 6) in New York City.
Not only did she look like a literally pink cloud in her Giambattista Valli Haute Couture gown, but something else happened – she lost her purse inside her dress!
Eva Chen, author and formerly the editor-in-chief of Lucky, shared a funny story about Lana‘s first Met Gala experience – apparently, Lana’s gown was so big that she actually lost her purse inside it!
Eva revealed that the Lana tried to call her phone, which was inside the bag, to find it.
“And the answer was, no, I did not feel it vibrate,” Lana added on her Instagram Stories. “[At] this point, I was convinced I’d never find it…but then @melton swooped in and saved the day!”
Charles Melton actually used his flashlight on his own phone and went under the table to find Lana‘s purse for her.
Despite almost losing her purse, Lana wouldn’t trade the experience for anything: “This train put my to the TEST last night…and I’d do it again in a heartbeat,” she shared about her dress.
Later on, Lana was spotted inside Moschino‘s After-Met Gala Party, in another pink number by Yanina.
