Keeping her sweater close, Aly Michalka is spotted arriving at LAX airport in Los Angeles over the weekend.
The 21-year-old actress flew into town to record some new music with sister AJ.
Aly caught up with JJJ recently to chat about her upcoming series, Hellcats. She told us about her audition process, “It was crazy! I had to freestyle dance, learn some choreography and cheer. It was a big event where I not only proved myself as an actor, but as a dancer as well. It was so rewarding after I got the role. I had to do more than a normal audition would have went. I had to be physically in shape, I had to look the part, I had to act and I had to dance. It was worth it though.”
Hellcats premieres NEXT WEDNESDAY, September 8th @ 9PM ET/PT on the CW.

The duo made it back to Los Angeles for a couple of CW parties and to present their new series, Hellcats, to the Television Critics Association.
During the TCA Panel, producer Kevin Murphy opened up on just why he cast the girls in the lead roles. He shared, “With Ashley, I laughed my ass off and wanted to get up and hug her at the same time; she can hold multiple colors in the same palatte. [Casting Marti was] a long and arduous process. She [Aly] had determination and grit and assertiveness and vulnerability.”

Ashley Tisdale bobs her head from side-to-side in this new summer trailer for her upcoming series, Hellcats.
A coming-of-age drama about a young pre-law student, Marti (Aly Michalka) whose world is turned upside-down when she loses her scholarship and has to join the college’s competitive cheerleading team.
Hellcats will air on Wednesdays @ 9PM on the CW this fall.
