Ariana Grande Reminds Fans to 'Be Gentler' After Pete Davidson's Comments About Bullying

Ariana Grande has a message for those cyberbullying Pete Davidson.

The 25-year-old entertainer took to her Instagram Story to comment on Pete‘s statement about being cyberbullied for months.

Ariana shared Pete‘s words, and wrote her own alongside his. She started, “I know u already know this but i feel i need to remind my fans to please be gentler with others, I really don’t endorse anything but forgiveness and positivity.”

Ariana continued, “i care deeply about pete and his health. I’m asking you to please be gentler with others, even on the internet. i’ve learned thru my own mistakes not to be reactive on socials so i do understand. but you truly don’t know what anybody is experiencing ever. regardless of what they choose to display on social media or how they may appear in public. i can promise u that.”

“So please let whatever point you’re trying to make go. I will always have irrevocable love for him and if you’ve gotten any other impression from my recent work, you might have missed the point,” she concluded.

Ariana and Pete broke up and ended their engagement earlier this fall.

Ariana Grande Gives Peek at Deleted Scene From 'Thank U, Next' Music Video

Ariana Grande is giving us a behind-the-scenes look at her latest music video for “Thank U, Next“!

In the video, the 25-year-old pop star shared a few parts from a Legally Blonde scene that eventually didn’t make the final cut of the video.

Jennifer Coolidge also praised Ariana and said that she loves her and the message her song gives to young girls.

“I love Ariana Grande because this is the essence of who she is,” she said. “All these young girls hear this song and the message is, it’s a strong woman’s message that you don’t have to destroy yourself over men. You can date men, and when it goes wrong, you benefit from the hardship, but you move on and it’s just like okay. And you don’t have to hang out in it.”

“When I was growing up, there weren’t messages like this,” Jennifer continued. “There weren’t strong female songs like this where the message was so clear that a young girl, you don’t have to feel crappy about a relationship that’s gone wrong. This is such a good song and such a good message, and I wish there were more of these.”
