Leighton Meester plants a kiss on Aaron Himelstein in the Atlantic Ocean on Saturday (April 14) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The twosome — who used to date back in 2007 — seem to have rekindled their romance and were seen splashing around in the waters before trying their hand at surfing.

After chilling out at the beach, Leighton and Aaron picked up a few sandwiches from a local restaurant.

The next day (April 15), the new couple were spotted at Feira de Artezanato de Ipanema. Every Sunday this street is turned into a collage of Handmade art, Brazilian musical instruments, local foods and many other attractions.

Leighton Meester wraps her arm around her former boyfriend Aaron Himelstein on Friday (April 13) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The 26-year-old Gossip Girl actress visited the famous Christ the Redeemer at the top of the Corcovado mountain in the Tijuca Forest National Park. Leighton joined the crowd of tourists and took pictures of the iconic statue.

Later in the day, Leighton made time to take pictures and sign autographs for her fans at her hotel.
