President Donald Trump continues to publicly shame, and Demi Lovato isn’t having it.
The 24-year-old singer directly responded to the President’s tweet, which shames two Democrats — well, the entire party, really — who organized a rally in Washington, D.C..
“@realDonaldTrump how about you stop dividing our country into two parties and unite us like a President should,” Demi tweeted.
Followed by a plea for the country to unite, despite the current political climate. “I’m just sad that we can’t all come together regardless of sex, race, religion, political party.. etc. we need to now more than ever,” she said.

The awesome thing about this campaign is it is literally so easy. We often hear JJJ readers tell us they feel sad when they see celebrities participating in major movements, like how Rowan Blanchard took the stage with this awe-inspiring speech during the Women’s March.
The sadness comes when they think about the fact they can’t drop everything and join — for any number of reasons: money, no car, too young.
