The 15-year-old Shake It Up star chatted about his character Deuce, looking beyond Disney and his music. Check it:
On looking up to Will Smith: “If I was to model my career after anyone it would definitely be Will Smith, because every role he does is so different from the last, he’s such a diverse actor, and that’s kind of what I aspire to be. I want to be very diverse actor, someone who can do one thing in one move and then do something completely different in the next.”
On Shake It Up: “There’s going to be a lot more of Deuce, that’s for sure. There s a lot of fun cool stuff, a lot of Deuce and Dina stuff.”
On balancing a music and acting career: “I feel like at times, I’m going to have to focus one more than the other, just because of the way things are scheduled out specially if I was going to be on a tour or what not. But, I will try to give equal attention to both my singing career and my acting career at the same time because I feel like they’re both important to me and they are both something that I wanted to grow up and continue doing for a long time, so I feel like I have to treat it like they’re both one career.”
In tonight’s new episode “Lock It Up,” Rocky (Zendaya) and CeCe (Thorne) perform at a local hospital inspiring Rocky to volunteer however, she accidentally gets quarantined in a patient’s room with Flynn (Davis Cleveland).
Meanwhile, CeCe asks Louis (Austin) out on a date.

The 15-year-old actress wore two custom Sherri Hill dresses, and so did her court which consisted of Zendaya, sister Dani, Bella Pendergast, and Kailey Swanson. Bella also shared a dance with boyfriend Tristan Klier during the bash.

The next day, Bella joined Caroline, Roshon Fegan and Adam Irigoyen at the 2012 Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times Halloween Carnival held at the Universal Studios Backlot.
Adam is also pictured at Mattel’s Party at the Pier in Santa Monica on Sunday afternoon (October 21).

In the season opener, “Fire It Up,” After a fire destroys the “Shake It Up, Chicago” set, CeCe (Thorne) is worried she might have accidentally caused it by leaving her curling iron on. Guilt ridden, she now must decide if she’ll tell the police detective (Anthony Starke), who happens to be dating her mom (Anita Barone), what she believes may have caused the fire.
Meanwhile, Tinka (Caroline Sunshine) tries to win over Rocky (Zendaya) and CeCe after Gunther (Kenton Duty) returns home to the old country.
