Our hearts go out to the family and friends of Korean popstar Ahn Sojin.
The 22-year-old Korean singer, who was a contestant on reality TV singing competition The KARA Project, has passed away after a suicide attempt earlier this week.
Ahn was found unconscious in the garden of an apartment building in Daegu, leading police to believe that she’d jumped from the 10th floor. Unfortunately, she passed away while being transported to the hospital.
Her contract with DSP Media, KARA’s record company, was dissolved as a trainee last month, right before they announced plans to launch a new girl group this year.
