Candice Patton, Tyler Hoechlin and Olivia Liang were among the many in attendance at the Barbara Berlanti Heroes Gala held on Saturday (October 1) at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.
The CW stars joined several others, as well as stars from other shows, to help celebrate the honorees at the event, which benefitted F-ck Cancer.
The song was written by Jenna Andrews, who also wrote “Butter” by BTS. The music video was directed by John Tashiro, produced by Shotclock and filmed at the Paramour Estate in Los Angeles.

This week’s round of new music sees quite a different variety of artists and sounds, and we are so excited to shared them with our readers.
Sofia Carson has just dropped a brand new, personal song, that she actually just wrote very recently, “He Loves Me, But…”
“I wrote this song two months ago and now it’s yours. ‘He Loves Me, But…’ is the next chapter of my story. There’s a piece of my heart in every word. And I hope it makes you smile and feel all the things that I felt while writing this. To anyone whose ever been told ‘I love you, but…’, this song is for you. I LOVE YOU (no ‘but’),” she shared on Instagram.
Among this week’s new releases include Olivia O’Brien‘s new song and music video “Sociopath,” AJ Mitchell‘s “STOP,” Aly & AJ‘s “Symptom of Your Touch” and more.
In true Olivia form, her new video is like a mini movie, featuring scary scenes reminiscent of movies like Scary Movie, Paranormal Activity and Scream, and stars some of her famous friends, including Quenlin Blackwell, Anastasia Karanikolaou, Claudia Sulewski, Zak Steiner and more.
Broadway actress Ava Della Pietra also has a new song out, “Home,” with proceeds being donated to charities dedicated to reuniting and rehoming children at the southern border.
“Over the past few years, I have been shocked to learn about the terrible conditions that children have had to endure at the border — being separated from their families and left alone,” she shared in a statement. “I also know that there are kids around the world struggling in other ways, including emotional challenges, pressures at school, problems at home, and so much more. I hope this song can encourage people to lend a helping hand and be there for one another.”
AJ Mitchell has just released his new song “Burn“!
The 19-year-old singer not only dropped his new track, but also a personal note about the tune and current events.
“‘Burn’ is particularly special to me. I wrote it as a conversation to myself. Reminding me of the importance of having a voice in everything I do,” he said.
“After witnessing the past few weeks and the events happening across the world, I wasn’t sure it would be appropriate to release anything right now,” AJ continued. “Though ‘Burn’ wasn’t written about the current events directly, the sentiment of using my voice, my music and my platform to push for change is so important to me.”
“Over the past several weeks, I have been inspired by the words and actions of my peers, leaders in the community, and my fans,” he says. “While this song acts as a symbol of change in my own life, it has now become a personal reminder of the responsibility I have to speak up and speak out.”
“With that in mind, I am also contributing a donation of $10,000 to Black Lives Matter alongside this release, which will be matched by Epic, and I will continue to listen, educate myself, and find ways to use my platform for good,” AJ added. “Thank you for spending the time to listen to my new song, ‘Burn.’ It’s very special to me and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. – AJ”
AJ Mitchell just dropped his new song “Spring Break” and it’s got us ready for warmer weather!
The 19-year-old singer, who also released an accompanying music video, says the song shows a new side of himself.
“I had a blast making ‘Spring Break.’ I haven’t really made a song like this before and I’m excited for people to hear a new side to me. I’ve always liked challenging myself and making different kinds of music, so it was nice to make something so carefree and fun,” AJ told JJJ.
He continued, “It’s really just inspired by the idea that Spring Break is a frame of mind. If you’re not on spring break, listening to this song will take you right there.”
“Spring Break” is now available for download on all digital retailers or you can watch the music video below…
