“‘Do You See Me’ was written on a trip to Nashville back in 2014,” the 19-year-old musician shared about the new track. “…We wrote the song in about two hours. When we walked into the room, we had a few ideas…a few lyrical Ideas and a few melody ideas. We didn’t know what we were going to write, but we knew that we wanted to write something extremely powerful, something that was extremely universal and something that a lot of folks could relate to.”
Alec added, “The song has become my favorite to play live, and I’m super excited about how to production came out. I hope you enjoy it.”

“This EP is so important to me. I want people to hear this and say, ‘Holy —-,’” Alec told us. “And I know that they will. This record is me trying to make a mark of who I want to be as an artist. My manager Sarah Nagourney and I – although we have also become like songwriting partners – have written over 40 songs, four that were used for this record. My producer, Robbie Guariglia, also co-wrote two out of the four songs on the EP.”
He added, “The EP was recorded in Robbie G‘s studio in Brooklyn. Eight hour days, every day, for two months straight. I honestly could not have had a better team behind me working to make this record. One of the most enjoyable times of my life.”
