The 22-year-old musician floated on the pink carpet in her Giambattista Valli Haute Couture gown while arriving at the 2019 Met Gala held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday (May 6) in New York City.

Alessia completed her gorgeous look with Harry Koltar earrings and some cool Nike sneakers!

Harry Styles is one of the hosts of the Costume Institute Gala Benefit this year, which is celebrating the launch of the Met’s “Camp: Notes on Fashion” exhibition.

FYI: She’s also carrying a Tyler Ellis clutch.

Shawn Mendes was just declared the Prince of Pop by Observer Magazine, but there was another pop star who had a bit of beef with it – Justin Bieber!

Justin jokingly responded to the post in the comments, writing, “Hmm…Gonna have to break a few more records to dethrone my title there bud (canadian voice)..but if you want we can play hockey for it but i heard your [sic] a real bender on the ice we could just drop the buckets and tilt for it.”

Shawn saw the comment and wrote back, accepting Justin‘s terms.

“LOL any time any day you just let me know,” he wrote.

Justin also calmed fans down by responding to his own reply: “There is no competition and it was a playful joke people relax.. there’s no sides we’re all just here to make dope music. I’m just [as] competitive as he is … so it was just a little playful jargon.”

Alessia replied, “a fan before I had fans I’m emotional.”

Alessia Cara waves to cameras while leaving an interview in new Ork City on Thursday (February 14).

The 22-year-old singer stopped by Music Choice and the Elvis Duran Show to chat about her new album.

Alessia opened up about her newest song, “Out of Love”, which she wrote for a friend, and the meaning behind it all.

“The sentiment [of falling out of love] isn’t really talked about in songs,” she says. “We never really ask what was the one moment and I don’t know if we want the answer to that always but you ask it anyways.”

She went on to say that even though you have a relationship that ended in heartbreak that “it’s worth it anyway.”

“It means you’re capable of feeling something that strongly. I’d rather feel that and feel so many things than feel nothing at all. I think that’s a pretty sad life to live if you’re not willing to give so much of yourself to another person. You got to open up.”

Alessia Cara ditched her oversized suit for the night at the 2019 Grammy Awards held at the Staples Center on Sunday (February 10) in Los Angeles.

The 22-year-old singer, who won Best New Artist in 2018, is at the show to pass on the award to one of seven nominees: Chloe x Halle, Luke Combs, Greta Van Fleet, H.E.R., Dua Lipa, Margo Price, Bebe Rexha and Jorja Smith.
