Alex Pettyfer and Gabriella Wilde have been tapped to star in the upcoming remake of the film Endless Love, according to Variety.
The 22-year-old actor was last seen in Magic Mike while Gabriella, 23, is best known for her role in 2011′s The Three Musketeers.

The film is based on the 1979 book written by Scott Spencer, which spawned a movie in 1981 starring Brooke Shields and Tom Cruise. It is unknown how closely this film’s plot will follow to the previous versions.

Alex Pettyfer hits up the Richard James show during the London Collections: MEN AW13 held at Cafe Royal on Tuesday afternoon (January 8) in London.
The 22-year-old actor is in the running for the lead role in Divergent, Variety is reporting. He’s testing with star Shailene Woodley along with Lucas Till and Jeremy Irvine.
Luke Bracey, Brenton Thwaites, and Jack Reynor were also previously brought in for chemistry testing with Shailene.
Written by Veronica Roth, “Divergent” follows Beatrice Prior (Tris), who leaves her faction to join a rival one, but during the violent initiation she falls in love with a young man and they try to find their place in this rough world.
Tobias is described as “tall and has short dark hair and beautiful deep blue eyes. He is two years older than Tris and originally came from the same faction as she did, Abnegation. He ran from Abnegation into Dauntless to escape his physically abusive father, Marcus. He protects Tris from the others both by defending her when she is attacked and by keeping their romance private.”

The 21-year-old actor wore a loose hooded sweatshirt, boxer briefs, and fake bruises all over his face as he filmed scenes.
Magic Mike follows an upstart male stripper (Pettyfer) who is mentored by a veteran dancer (Channing Tatum). The screenplay is inspired by Channing‘s work as a stripper before he made it in Hollywood.

Alex Pettyfer was spotted promoting I Am Number Four premiere held at the Gaumont Marignan Cinemas in Paris on Sunday afternoon (March 13).
The 20-year-old actor joined director D.J. Caruso and Number Six, Teresa Palmer.
Alex shared with The Cinema Source about his ‘man of the hour’ moment: “I don’t feel like man of the hour. I feel like I had just done two films that I’m very proud of. I’m just excited for people to see both of them. They have great messages and this is a movie that I’ve been waiting to come out for a long time. I’m a very lucky boy to be in the position that I’m in.”
