Ashleigh Murray turns heads in her red slip dress while arriving for The CW’s Summer 2019 TCA Party held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday night (August 4) in Beverly Hills, Calif.
“Shooting the pilot for Katy was very different than Riverdale,” Ashleighadmitted during the panel, adding that “I’ve been able to play with the rest of Josie’s personality.”
She continued, “On Riverdale she’s secluded; she was good at minding her business. With this experience, it was a lot more fun for me to let Josie have fun.”
The series will center on Nancy (McMann), a brilliant teenaged detective whose sense of self had come from solving mysteries in her hometown of Horseshoe Bay, Maine – until her mother’s untimely death derails Nancy’s college plans. Devastated by her mother’s passing, Nancy swears off crime-solving while crossing off the days until she can re-apply to college.
But when a socialite is murdered, Nancy finds herself a prime suspect in the crime, along with a group of other teens present at the scene: Nancy’s nemesis from high school, George Fan (Lewis); a rich girl with a mysterious past, Bess Marvin (Jaizani); Nancy’s secret boyfriend, Ned “Nick” Nickerson (Kasim), and amiable burnout Ace (Saxon).
Now, the five of them must team up to clear their own names – encountering emotional entanglements and even more mysteries along the way.
The series will air on Wednesdays this fall on The CW.

So much went down during tonight’s (March 24) season one finale of The Fosters and we’re still trying to process it all!
Callie (Maia Mitchell) and Jude (Hayden Byerly) were excited to get formally adopted into the family, but her dreams were shattered when she found out there was a problem with her birth certificate – she has a different father!
Still, she wanted to see Jude happy and watched as the judge made it official for him. Luckily, Wyatt (Alex Saxon) and Rita (Rosie O’Donnell) both offered Callie a shoulder to lean on during the whole process.
Meanwhile, Brandon (David Lambert) was still dealing with the aftermath of his arrest and his heartbreak over Callie. In a huge shock – he slept with his dad’s girlfriend Dani! He also got his hand slammed into a car door at the end of the episode by the vengeful Vico (Reiley McClendon), so it looks like his piano-playing days are over for now.
In happier news, Stef (Sherri Saum) and Lena (Teri Polo) got the surprise of a lifetime when they realized they were expecting a child together!
As for Jesus (Jake T. Austin), he apologized to Emma (Amanda Leighton) and asked her if they could start over and she agreed.
Finally, Mariana (Cierra Ramirez) helped Zac (Julian De La Celle) with his mom and encouraged him to seek out his father.
