Actress Alice Greczyn, who plays Mads, tweeted the eery news: “Kinda silly w everything else goin on, but want to let fans know that #TheLyingGame did not get picked up. Sorry! Thanks for all ur support!”
She added after, to calm her fans down, “Should also note that nothing will be officially official til summer. #TVisaweirdworld.”
Exec producer and creator Chuck Pratt also wrote, “#TheLyingGame ATTENTION ALL — The Lying Game inot dead! On hold til June. Would be back on the air in January. Do not give up the fight!”

Alexandra Chando dolls up for the 21st Annual A Night At Sardi’s Gala held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Wednesday night (March 20) in Beverly Hills, Calif.
The 26-year-old Lying Game star tweeted ahead of the event, “Ready for the @alzassociation annual gala! #endalz Thank you @alice_olivia for the great outfit!”
A Night at Sardi’s is an annual celebrity musical revue and awards dinner to benefit the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association. To date, the event has raised more than $21 million to address this rapidly growing health crisis.

The 26-year-old actress opened up about taking on two roles at once on The Lying Game, which just had its spring finale last night. Check it:
On the things she does in Austin: “We have so much fun out there. We do a lot of cast outings. So on a weekend we’ll go float down the river and then go to a concert at night. Austin is known as the live music capital of the world, so we’re always going out and seeing new music. We went to Austin City Limits this year as a cast. We find a lot of fun things. We’re usually out there in the summer when it’s like a thousand degrees, so anything we can do outside that’s on the water, we’ll go out on the lake, jet ski, tube and all that. We make the most of it.”
On the challenge of playing twins: “We try to work the schedule so I’m doing all Emma or all Sutton, but sometimes it doesn’t work out that way. If there’s a Sutton and Emma scene with them together, obvious we do that in the same day. And that’s when it starts getting a little crazy, because we do a quick changeover and then hop right back into it, and sometimes it becomes a little hard to shift into one or the other.”
On the twin she wants to play more: ” Sutton. It’s just fun to play the bad girl and to be manipulative.”
In tonight’s episode “To Lie For,” the charity gala takes a somber turn as everyone honors the memory of a loved one: Dan (Tyler Christopher) issues Ethan (Blair Redford) an ultimatum that has heartbreaking consequences. Emma (Chando) finally confronts Rebecca (Charisma Carpenter) about her lost childhood.
Meanwhile, Ted (Buckley) tries to find the right way to tell Kristin (Helen Slater) about another secret from his past and an unexpected twist brings the fundraiser to a crashing halt.
Looks like Emma and Sutton are finally on the same side in this new preview for the spring finale of The Lying Game.
Earlier this week on the hit ABC Family show, we saw the twins (Alexandra Chando) come face to face with their biological father (Andy Buckley), Jordan (Ryan Rottman) getting initiated into the secret Lying gang and Thayer (Christian Alexander) stop accussing dad Alec (Adrian Pasdar) for everything.
So what’s coming for the finale?
“Ethan (Blair Redford) is going to surprise us by the way he has to choose between family and Emma,” executive producer Chuck Pratt Jr.shared. “His choice, and his level of emotion — I can promise you’ll see him cry in the next two episodes — is going to shock us. He’s not just a handsome, romantic hunk; he’s also got feelings. Real feelings.”

In tonight’s episode “The Grave Truth,” Ethan’s (Redford) confession to Dan (Tyler Christopher) threatens to shatter the brothers’ relationship forever. Sutton (Alexandra Chando) receives a mysterious phone call that may provide some valuable information.
Emma’s (also Chando) feelings for Thayer (Christian Alexander) are tested when she finds herself in close quarters with Ethan. And someone else comes face to face with Emma and Sutton.
