On making the move to Los Angeles: “The transition to LA was exciting, but also difficult because it’s a very different city than New York. The biggest problem for me initially was driving… I failed my road test three times and was taking the bus around LA, which isn’t as easy to do as it is in New York! But I’ve made some amazing friends here, and finally got a license and a car, so I feel more at home now.”

On her horror movie rule she’d love to break: “Don’t go exploring; it’s okay to chicken out. Curiosity killed the cat.”

Alexandra Daddario dons a pair of bright red pants while arriving at Global’s Morning Show on Thursday morning (December 13) in Toronto, Canada.

The 26-year-old actress is making her rounds, promoting her upcoming film, Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D.

Opening January 4th, the movie follows Heather (Daddario) who learns that she has inherited a Texas estate from a grandmother she never knew she had. After embarking on a road trip with friends to uncover her roots, she finds she is the sole owner of a lavish, isolated Victorian mansion. But her newfound wealth comes at a price as she stumbles upon a horror that awaits her in the mansion’s dank cellars.

The 26-year-old actress chatted with Wetpaint on the carpet about 50 Shades of Grey casting.

With her name swirling around the role of Ana Steele, Alex shared her dream guys for the role of Christian.

“Oh my god! I mean that’s sort of like the crème de la crème of men. Pretty much anybody, I guess!” Alex shared. “I love Alexander Skarsgard, I love Matt Bomer. Really anyone. There are so many talented, great people out there.”

Alexandra Daddario is gorgeous in green as she stops by the Sirius XM studios in New York City late last week.

The 26-year-old actress was back in her hometown to promote her upcoming film, Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D.

While in the Big Apple, Alexandra also stopped by Collider to chat about her other projects, including Percy Jackson & The Sea of Monsters.

“We didn’t hear anything about the sequel for years and then all these rumors started. I loved making it,” Alexandra shared. “I love the fanbase. There’s a huge fanbase for the books and I really enjoyed making the first movie and was really excited to go into the second one.”

She added, “The fanbase is just so incredible. It’s great to be a part of something that inspires kids and young people. It’s a really wonderful franchise to be a part of…the story [this time around for Sea of Monsters] is more similiar to the book. They dyed my hair blonde like my character [Annabeth], so I got to be blonde. There are more references to things in the book.”

Leven Rambin and Alexandra Daddario arrive at the Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party on Thursday night (September 27) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The two actresses will star in the upcoming Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Sea of Monsters.

The flick, a sequel to Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief, follows Percy (Logan Lerman) as he and Annabeth (Daddario) head to the titular sea to find the mythical Golden Fleece, as well as to free Grover (Brandon T. Jackson) who has been captured there.
