Alexandra Daddario Covers Genlux Magazine

Alexandra Daddario Covers Genlux Magazine

Alexandra Daddario graces a new Spring 2011 cover of Genlux Magazine.

Styled by George Blodwell, the 24-year-old actress opens up about getting over her stage fright, her obsession with Steve Martin and being a simple girl with fashion.

On her simplistic fashion style: “I have a simple, classic style. I wore a simple Mason black dress with these detailed cutouts to the MTV Movie Awards [last year] and a black and white BCBG dress to the premiere of Percy Jackson. I have no problem being sexy as long as it’s not classless.”

On Steve Martin: “I’m a huge fan of Steve Martin. I think if I ever met him, I’d fall over. I love him. The Jerk is amazing. L.A. Story is great. he’s just a genius…he’s just got that special way about him. He’s my ideal man.”

On getting over her stage fright: “I had such stage fright! I was 17 and the studio flew me in from New York and put me up in a nice hotel. I imagined the situation being a thousand times worse than it actually was. I saw myself on stage in front of a bleacher filled with about 50 executives. In reality there were probably only seven people there, but I went up to read and was so petrified I couldn’t even speak. I froze. the experience forced me to deal with my stage fright. it was a good lesson.”
