Get excited Percy Jackson fans — The Sea of Monsters is coming!

The L.A. Times (via MTV) is reporting that Fox 2000 is in the early development stages for the follow-up flick to Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief.

In the second book, Percy (Logan Lerman) and his group of friends as they head to the titular sea to find the mythical Golden Fleece and to free Grover (Brandon T. Jackson) who has been captured on the island of Polyphemus.

Stars Logan, Brandon, Alexandra Daddario and Jake Abel are signed on for three movies in the series. Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski are penning the second script with Chris Columbus and Karen Rosenfelt producing.

Alexandra Daddario steps out at the premiere of Hall Pass held at the ArcLight Cinemas Cinerama Dome on Wednesday night (February 23) in Hollywood.

The 23-year-old actress wore a gorgeous strapless emerald green chiffon gown from Farah Angsana to the event. Alexandra finished her look with a Kotur clutch!

Alexandra stars as Paige in the flick, which follows two best friends as they are granted a “hall pass” from their wives: one week of freedom to do whatever they want, no questions asked.

The former Percy Jackson costars caught up with each other while heading out to lunch.

Alexandra, 24, will premiere her new flick, Hall Pass, next week.

Logan, 19, just recently wrapped The Three Musketeers and will start production on The Perks of Being A Wallflower later this year opposite Emma Watson.

Alexandra Daddario is on Marie Claire‘s radar in their March 2011 issue — but she’s been on JJJ‘s for a while.

The 23-year-old actress, who will next be seen opposite Owen Wilson in Hall Pass, chatted with the mag about what fans would be surprised to know about her, her most romantic date yet and her secret talent that we all wish we had. Check it:

On tickling the ivories: “I’ve been playing the piano for 15 years. It’s a great way to de-stress.”

On maintaining her packing queen crown: “I’m a quick packer. I can pack and be at the airport in an hour.”

On her best New Year’s ever: “This past New Year’s Eve, I drove to Pacific Palisades with my boyfriend, and we could see all the fireworks at midnight. It was beautiful, there was no crazy party, and I work up the next morning to start off the year on a great note.”

Alexandra Daddario chats it up with Owen Wilson in this brand-new still from her upcoming flick, Hall Pass.

The 23-year-old actress stars as Paige in the film, opposite Jenna Fischer, Christina Applegate and Jason Sudeikis. Teen Wolf‘s Tyler Hoechlin also stars.

Alexandra Daddario is just one of several young Hollywood names that you should acquaint yourself with.

Nominated by Greg Krelenstein in the January 2011 issue of V Magazine, you may know the 23-year-old actress from Percy Jackson, but she’s spreading her wings beyond just Greek mythology.

Alexandra will hit the big screen once again in Hall Pass with Owen Wilson later this year. The feature says, “She’ll get her biggest ‘big break’ with a pivotal role in David Fincher‘s forthcoming The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.”
