Aly Raisman heads out of the dance studio with her mom in Los Angeles on Thursday afternoon (May 16).
The 18-year-old gymnast and pro partner Mark Ballas were seen just the day before hanging out on the rooftop for a little break before getting back to work.
“We have a great song. The song doesn’t have any lyrics, but it’s a cool song that has an amazing beat,” Aly dished to TVGuide about her freestyle dance.
She added, “It’s a pump-up song. When you hear it, you want to start working out or dancing. It’s going to be a fun and energetic dance. It’s going to be another cardio routine for me.”

The 16-year-old actress and 18-year-old Olympian joined the pro dancers and one of their fellow finalists, Kellie Pickler, at the bash.
“Thank you for all the kind comments on last nights performance! Really hoping @MarkBallas & I make it to the finals :) #DWTS,” Alytweeted before tonight’s reveal of the top 4 finalists.
Zendaya, who wore Charlotte Olympia heels, added after the fact, “Don’t know what else to say but THANK YOU!!”

“I really want to make the final. The Afro-jazz has to be full of energy, so I really have to wow people. The rumba — I want people to feel something and not just think it’s another rumba. I hope they understand the story that I love him, but I can’t be with him,” Aly recently shared of her two dances this week.

“I had no idea what to expect coming into this competition. I have surpassed my expectations! I never expected to improve this much and to learn so much,” Aly told the L.A. Times.
Aly wrote on Twitter, “Loving our rumba routine & our song is one of my favorites!!! Can’t wait for you all to see it!! #DWTS :)”

The 18-year-old gymnast and her 26-year-old pro partner Mark Ballas hit the floor with a sultry Argentine Tango, which earned them 29/30.
“Hours and hours of rehearsals thanks @MarkBallas & @HenryByalikov for being such great teachers… Hope I make you both proud Monday night!!” Aly tweeted over the weekend for their trio challenge.
The three danced to “Hit the Road Jack” and earned straight 9′s.
