The New York City-based crooner, who is also the lead singer of the Disney cover band, Little Mermen, just dropped “The World Was Still.” Listen below!
“‘TWWS’ is a romantic song but it’s also about chilling out and taking a second to relax,” Alexis told JJJ. “The lyrics evoke a peaceful scene of nature.. I love being in NYC, but a big city can be loud and crowded at times…Sometimes it’s nice to get away somewhere where there’s open space and a bit of quiet.”
He added, “I also really like the way the production on this song came together. It evolved from a simple acoustic ballad to hints of 80′s synth.”
Alexis is currently working on his debut album.
