Beautiful Creatures' Alice Englert & Thomas Mann Reunite For New Movie

Who remembers Beautiful Creatures?

The film that premiered about four years ago has ignited major careers for the four young stars — and a brand new movie is bringing two of them back together.

Alice Englert, who played Lena, and Thomas Mann, who played Link, will be starring together again in a new flick called Them That Follow, Deadline reports.

It’s a dramatic thriller set deep in the wilds of Appalachia, where a Pentecostal pastor, Lemuel Childs, and his believers handle venomous snakes to prove themselves before God.

Focusing on Lemuel’s daughter, Mara (Englert), she holds a secret that threatens to tear the church apart: her romantic past with a nonbeliever, Augie (Mann).

As Mara’s wedding to a devoted follower looms, she must decide whether or not to trust the steely matriarch of their community, Hope (Olivia Colman), with her heart and life at stake.

Them That Follow will start shooting in Ohio this coming October.

Alice Englert & Alden Ehrenreich: 'Beautiful Creatures' in Mexico

Alice Englert sticks close to co-star Alden Ehrenreich at the premiere of Beautiful Creatures at Cinemex Antara on Monday night (February 18) in Mexico City, Mexico.

The 18-year-old actress and 23-year-old actor, along with costar Emmy Rossum, presented their film earlier in the day with a press conference at the St. Regis Hotel.

Viola Davis was the first person cast in this film, and I think I was the second or third. That, alone, said something to me. I really love her,” Alice recently told us during a press day in Los Angeles.

“She’s someone who I love because she shows you how you can really just relax and be honest. Honesty is fantastic. Viola showed me how to not need to perform for people and know how to take your own time.”

FYI: Alice wore a Vivienne Westwood dress for the press conference and Givenchy for the premiere.
