Sterling Knight mimics internet personality Fred in this new promo from the new season of So Random.
JJJ caught up with the cast on set late last month to chat about the new format, new cast and the new sketches.
Doug Brochu told us, “The new format is very involved. Instead of seeing what goes on behind-the-scenes, you’re seeing us in our element, on ‘So Random.’ There are tables set up for the audience to sit at, chairs…I love both sides, but the SNL-type is great to experience.”
And when we saw our pal Brandon Smith, all we had to talk about was the super cool stage! “The stage is so cool. The fact that it turns gives the show that much more excitement. You don’t know if Tony Hawk is going to be back there or if it’s going to be Selena Gomez. Anyone could be there. The stage is magic.”
As the first musical guest of the series, Cody kicks off the new show which features Tawni (Thornton), Nico (Smith), Grady (Brochu), Zora (Arm) and Chad Dylan Cooper (Sterling Knight) in new sketches.
Mindless Behavior will also perform.

While the games start on June 24th, fans can hop online starting June 10th to pledge actions they will take in to help the planet. To date, over four million pledges have been made by kids worldwide!
There are online versions of the games and the points you earn can be given to your favorite team! The team with the most online points will be named the regional “Fan Favorite” team and awarded an additional $100,000 for their team’s charity. Sweet!
Brandon told JJJ recently, “It’s a whole new setting. The stage does something really gnarly that I know the audience will like. It really is like a teen club, SNL now. We really love the ability to actually interact with the audience and kids. We’re just bringing more funny and more sketches.”

In the upcoming episode “So Random Holiday Special,” Chad Dylan Cooper (Sterling Knight) hosts a fully-produced, jolly-themed So Random! holiday special, with special musical guest Joe Jonas. Sketches include “A Jonas for Christmas,” “The 12 Days of Sickmas with Sicky Vicky,” “Holiday Cooking with Roadkill McGill” and “Christmas with the Real Princesses of New Jersey.”
