David Archuleta gears up for a giant game of tennis as he arrives at the 2010 Arthur Ashe Kids Day in Queens, NY on Saturday afternoon (August 28).
The 19-year-old musician teamed up with the Jonas Brothers, former tour-mate Demi Lovato and Allstar Weekend for the music festival for children and families which features interactive games, entertainment and grounds activities honoring the legacy of Arthur Ashe as the US Open begins.

Allstar Weekend also posted about the event, “Arthur Ashe was awesome!!! The minute we get in the van my whole band falls asleep :) on our way back to the hotel in NYC. Traffic is rough.”

The 18-year-old rock star joined pals Allstar Weekend during the festival.
Allstar Weekend actually just released their debut album, Suddenly, last week! They tweeted about the festival, “We had so much fun at the Taste of Chicago! Alot of peope came out to the show, and it was great to see some fresh faces :) Now, off to the airport!”

Over the weekend, the 18-year-old musician joined tour buddies Allstar Weekend at Verizon’s “Experience The Magic” Tour stop held at Freehold Raceway Mall in Freehold, NJ.
In a recent review of one of Emily‘s concerts, the writer says, “Osment‘s new work, including the darker, heavier ‘The Cycle’ and the slightly tortured ‘One of Those Days,’ is catchy, but it has a more mature, sonically complex edge – not quite the sparkly Disney sound fans are used to, with simple themes of high school and teen love.
“It seems that Osment isn’t just dabbling in music or blindly going the teen pop route; she’s serious about being a musician and incorporating the alternative sound of influences such as Radiohead and Incubus. But it might be tough to sell her new slant to a fan base whose average age is 10.”
