Fifth Harmony Preview 'Raw' & Most 'Personal' Album Yet

Fifth Harmony are opening up even more about their forthcoming, self-titled album, out on August 25th.

The group — Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane, and Lauren Jauregui — spoke to The Sun (via) about the record, calling it their most “raw” and “personal” album yet.

“We wanted to be raw and draw from our experiences,” Normani shares. “Every time we stepped into the booth it was something that we believed in, not something we were forced to sing. This is all us.”

“We want people to listen to it and feel the love,” Lauren adds.

One of the tracks, “Bridges” means a lot to all four of the singers.

Normani says, “Bridges is our most personal song, because it’s a commentary on what’s going on in the world right now.”

We can’t wait to hear it all.

Ariana Grande & Ally Brooke Are Totally Twinning - See the Pics!

Ariana Grande & Ally Brooke Are Totally Twinning - See the Pics!

We had to do a double take when we came across Ally Brooke‘s latest Instagram selfie – we thought it was Ariana Grande for a second!

In the photo, which the Fifth Harmony singer posted on Friday (August 11), Ally looks gorgeous in nude matte lipstick, highlighting her eyes with long lashes and a shimmer of shadow.

Meanwhile, Ariana‘s recent Instagram selfie features an almost identical shade of lipstick, and her eyes also pop with long lashes and bright shadow.

What really completes the twinning process, though, is that Ariana has been wearing her long brown hair loose lately, rather than up in her signature ponytail.

Now that Ally has totally straightened her own brown locks, we’re definitely seeing double.

DO YOU THINK Ariana and Ally could pass as twins?

Hi ????????????

Ally Brooke Shares That Fifth Harmony Wrote Certain Songs In Pairs For Upcoming Album

Ally Brooke is out promoting Fifth Harmony‘s upcoming self-titled album and dished a ton about the record during her visit to On Air with Ryan Seacrest.

“We co-wrote more than half of this album,” Brooke shared of her bandmates

“We put our blood, sweat and tears in to this. … You get to hear us as you’ve never heard us before,” Ally says, adding that she, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane and Lauren Jauregui co-wrote more than half the album.

Ally also revealed that for the 10 tracks, the quartet teamed up in pairs to write them.

“It’s cool because for this record we were able to be in pairs for the most part to write the songs,” she says. “For example, Normani and I would go in to [the studio] and that’s how we created ‘Messy’ … so you kind of have that extra personal attachment when it’s coming from you.”

Fifth Harmony‘s album is out on August 25th.

Fifth Harmony Dish on Body Confidence in Seventeen's September 2017 Issue

Fifth Harmony Dish on Body Confidence in Seventeen's September 2017 Issue

Fifth Harmony are talking all about body confidence in the newest issue of Seventeen mag.

The ladies — Ally Brooke, Dinah Jane, Lauren Jauregui and Normani Kordei — opened up in the September/October 2017 issue of the glossy, revealing the new dynamics in the band, how they’ve evolved and how they’ve come to feel confident in their own skin.

“I’ve struggled with self-confidence in a different way than the other girls, in the sense that I’m the only black girl in the group,” Normani reveals. “It’s a problem that so many little girls – whether they’re African-American, Latin, whatever – can’t identify with what they see.”

She adds, “Hopefully I can be a source of light. I feel like I have the power to influence a whole generation, which is overwhelming at times but also such a beautiful thing.”

Lauren also says that her bisexuality isn’t something she’s ashamed of at all.

“You can’t use the fact that I’m bisexual against me if that’s something I’m proud of,” she shared.

Lauren adds, “I feel motivated more than scared to share who I am because it makes me feel awesome when someone comes up to me and says that because of me she was able to find the strength to accept herself.”

The new issue of Seventeen will be out on newsstands on August 15th.

Ally Brooke Saw 'Wonder Woman' in Theaters 4 Times: 'It is Extraordinary'

Ally Brooke Saw 'Wonder Woman' in Theaters 4 Times: 'It is Extraordinary'

The list of celebrities who are obsessed with Wonder Woman has gained yet another member.

Fifth Harmony singer Ally Brooke took to Instagram early this morning to gush about the film, revealing that she has seen it in theaters no fewer than four times.

“Okay…where do I begin? So I first saw Wonder Woman when it first came out,” the 24-year-old writes, “I took my sweet little cousin. Since then, in between my crazy schedule, I’ve seen it THREE more times (including tonight).”

Ally hasn’t seen it so many times out of boredom; the film means something to her.

“I cannot tell you how moved I am by this film,” she continues, “It is extraordinary. The story of good vs evil parallels that of real life (there are absolutely Biblical/spiritual elements that left me with chills and tears). I felt all of the pain, loss, and triumph. The power of a woman, the power of LOVE. It is all so real.”

She then points out that she has “never seen a film at the movies more than twice” in her entire life, to show how much this particular film resonated with her.

“There is finally a superhero that me and millions of girls can truly look up to and aspire to be like,” she closes out, thanking everyone involved, “One day, there really will be no more evil.”
