The 28- and 29-year-old Canadian-born actresses celebrated Canada Day at the show, which spotlight Canadian entertainment and sports talent working in the United States.
Amanda was even named best actress in a TV series!

The 28-year-old actress spoke with Variety about the show and its limited portrayal of women in the industry.
“It’s really unfortunate that it’s so imbalanced and I think the show got a lot of heat for that,” she shared. “But to Mike‘s [Judge, creator] credit, we’re not trying to change Silicon Valley, we’re trying to be a commentary on Silicon Valley and that’s what exists. Do I agree with it? Absolutely not.”
Amanda added, “So hopefully people will be paying much more attention to it. I think there have been a lot of really cool movements to help young girls strive to get these kinds of jobs.”
