The ladies of American Idol chat it up with Octavia Spencer and Ahna O’Reilly at City Year Los Angeles Spring Break: Destination Education event held at Sony Pictures Studios on Saturday night (April 20) in Los Angeles.

Angie Miller, Kree Harrison, Amber Holcomb and Candice Glover posed with members of the AmeriCorps at the event which helped raise $1.3 million to support the education of over 4,000 students who are at risk of dropping out.

“Absolutely LOVED meeting and talking to @octaviaspencer and Ahna O’Reilly from “The Help” tonight! Amazing ladies!!” Angie tweeted.

She added later on, “…and I still can’t believe I met Liam Hemsworth tonight.”

After weeks of guys getting sent home and the save still in play, the top five girls were the only ones left in the competition. In the end, the judges did not decide to use the save and Janelle went home.

Burnell Taylor and Amber Holcomb get the crowd excited during the Top 8 week of American Idol on Wednesday (March 27).

Amber, 18, took on “Lately” by Stevie Wonder while Burnell, 19, sang his song “My Cherie Amour.”

Both singers received great feedback from all four judges, but Amber got a standing ovation! “Best vocal of the night!” Randy Jackson said.

Amber Holcomb and Lazaro Arbos take the stage during the Top 9 “Beatles Week” of American Idol on Wednesday (March 20).

Lazaro, 21, took on the classic song “In My Life” while Amber, 18, sang “She’s Leaving Home.”

“It started a little slow for me,” Randy Jackson told Amber of her performance.

Meanwhile, Lazaro started to cry after Randy called it his “worst performance.”

Angie Miller and Amber Holcomb hit the blue carpet for the American Idol finalists party held at The Grove on Thursday night (March 7) in Los Angeles.

The two singers made the Top 10 finalists during the show where host Ryan Seacrest brought them to the stage to surprise the judges and audience.

“AHHHHH SOOOO CRAZYYY EXCITED!!!!!!! Love you all!!!!!! <3 #FreakingOut!!” Angie tweeted.

Amber Holcomb and Adriana Latonio take the stage during the Semi-Finals on the Tuesday (March 5) episode of American Idol.

Amber, 18, took on Whitney Houston‘s classic “I Believe in You and Me” while Adriana, 17, sang Destiny Child‘s “Stand Up For Love.”

The judges loved Amber‘s performance, but Nicki Minaj called Adriana‘s very “pageanty.”
