In the past three episodes, we’ve seen singer Susan Boyle, Cristina Ramos, Deadly Games, comedian Preacher Lawson, Paul Potts and history makingAngelica Hale voted through to the finale.
The 11-year-old singer became the first ever act to win two golden buzzers – and she showed off how she commemorated her history making moment – by boxing up that confetti into a keepsake box.
“I can’t believe that I now have TWO #goldenbuzzers,” she wrote on Instagram. “Thank you @howiemandel for believing in me and sending me through to the finale of #AGTChampions!!”
Talking with People later on, Angelica admitted she’s a bit nervous for the finals, where she’ll face off against singers Susan Boyle and Cristina Ramos, as well as comedian Preacher Lawson and Deadly Games.
“I’m a little bit nervous,” she shared. “Both of them are absolutely incredible. Susan Boyle is a legend and Cristina Ramos is so incredible.”
Angelica added, “I look up to both of them. I actually was very excited to compete against them but also little nervous.”
We were so excited when we found out that Angelica Hale would be performing on the special season of America’s Got Talent: The Champions and here performance was totally worth the wait!
The 11-year-old singer came in second place on her season of the show in the summer of 2017.
Angelica performed Rachel Platten‘s “Fight Song” on the third episode of AGT‘s spin-off series and she knocked it out of the park.
Angelica received a golden buzzer from judge Howie Mandel, which means that she is automatically one of the 10 contestants competing in the finals in a few weeks.
This also makes Angelica the first ever recipient of two golden buzzers.
