Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd are all smiles as they arrive at the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals’ Winter Wonderland Ball held at Avalon on Saturday night (December 12) in Hollywood, Calif.
The newly engaged couple joined Amy Purdy at the event, which supports the “Band Together For Kids” holiday campaign that brings attention to the importance of urgently needed donations to children’s hospitals.
Speaking with ET recently, Maks opened up about proposing to Peta earlier in the month.
“I have a big circle of people that I’ve accumulated over the years that are now her friends and her family, and if you say just the closest few, [that would be] like 50 people, so I decided not to say anything to anybody. No mom, no dad,” Maks confessed about not telling anyone what he was doing — except for brother Val.
Val added, “I found out [Maks was proposing] a half an hour before he did that. During intermission of our show [Sway A Dance Trilogy], he started showing me the ring, and I bugged out.”
Amy Purdy keeps close to fianceDaniel Gale as they arrive at the 2015 Kids’ Choice Sports Awards held at UCLA’s Pauley Pavilion on Thursday afternoon (July 16) in Westwood, Calif.
The 35-year-old Paralympian kept it lacy in a cute two piece outfit for the annual show, after attending the 2015 ESPYs just the night before.
Speaking with People, Amy dished about her and Daniel‘s upcoming nuptials and just when they’re taking place.
“We’re getting married at the end of the summer. We’ve been together for close to 13 years … so by the time we both decided we’re on the same page, let’s do this, we thought, ‘Why wait any longer? Let’s do this. We know we want to do this.’” Amy said.
Former Dancing With the Stars contestant Amy Purdy and transgender teen activist Jazz Jennings show off their chic style while walking the red carpet at the 2015 ESPY Awards on Wednesday night (July 15) at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
The two stars were joined at the event by Little League Baseball player Mo’ne Davis, who was won of the night’s big winners.
Mo’ne won the award for Best Breakthrough Athlete at the show. She beat out New York Giants football player Odell Beckham Jr., Ohio State Buckeyes player Cardale Jones, and PGA golfer Jordan Spieth.
FYI: Amy wore a Mac Duggal mini dress with Laura Kasti sandals.
“@noahgallowayathlete you have inspired me every minute of our journey together. Thank you for letting me tell your story, and trusting me whole heartedly, I adore you and will truly miss making history with you every week. I’ve said it already, but you are my hero ??????” Sharna wrote on Instagram after the show. So sweet!
