Emma Stone follows rumored boyfriend and costar Andrew Garfield back to their car after dining out at Nobu in Los Angeles on Thursday night (August 25).

In a new interview with YouBeauty.com (via People), the 22-year-old actress opened up about what real beauty is.

“Confidence is the only key. I know a lot of people who aren’t traditionally ‘beautiful’ — not symmetrical or perfect-bodied or perfect-skinned. But none of that matters because all that shines through is their confidence, humor and comfort with themselves,” Emma shared. “I can’t think of any better representation of beauty than someone who is unafraid to be herself.”

Emma Stone shows off her simple style with Rebecca Minkoff booties as she spends Wednesday afternoon (August 17) with some gal pals in Los Angeles.

The 22-year-old actress recently chatted with Chicago Sun Times about the Amazing lip lock between Andrew Garfield‘s Peter Parker and her character, Gwen Stacy, in The Amazing Spider-Man.

“Why would we do an upside-down kiss? I’m not Mary Jane. I’m Gwen Stacy in the Spider-Man film. New girl. New kiss. I wanted to do different kisses to make our mark,” she shared.

“Of course, it was amazing to do the big action superhero movie,” Emma added. “But to me, this ‘Spider-Man’ actually feels very down to earth. It’s a love story for my character, a simple love story told in the midst of this big, big world.”

Emma Stone shares an intimate moment with Andrew Garfield in this new still from The Amazing Spider-Man.

The upcoming flick follows Peter Parker (Garfield) as he develops his powers in high school. Emma, 23, stars as his love interest, Gwen Stacy.

“I thought it was pretty cool, but maybe I’m a little bit biased, contractually,” Emma shared with MTV about the teaser trailer. “I’m pretty excited about it! We’ll see how people respond to it.”

Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield stay focused in character on Sunday (May 1) in New York City.

The duo are currently filming the Spiderman reboot, The Amazing Spider-Man!, with Andrew in the title role, and Emma as his love interest, Gwen Stacy. The film is set to be released in 2012.

The 22-year-old actress was spotted on set earlier this week wearing a spring dress, cute boots, and a black leather jacket! She was shooting scenes with Andrew, her 27-year-old costar, all day.

Columbia Pictures has announced that the newest Spider-Man film will be entitled The Amazing Spider-Man!

Starring Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone, the new flick will follow the life of Peter Parker as he discovers his powers during high school.

Rhys Ifans, Denis Leary, Campbell Scott, and Martin Sheen also star.

Marc Webb is directing the project which will release in 3D on July 3, 2012.

Hailee Steinfeld gets a giant smile and hug from Andrew Garfield during the 2011 SAG Awards on Sunday evening (January 30) in Los Angeles.

The 14-year-old actress, who was nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture, also met up with Jesse Eisenberg. Hailee also chatted with Lea Michele, who was seated at the same table.

True Grit costar Jeff Bridges is still giving Hailee more praise.

In an interview with Movieline, Jeff shared, “Just as a person, she has a real sweetness and a generosity of spirit, and I think a lot of that, to a large degree comes from how she was raised…It was a very difficult role, I think, for any actor at any age. She got her tongue around those words, and she made it look easy. But that was a lot of studying and a great work ethic to come up with that. All the skills — or talents, I guess — that actors wish they had, she’s got them in spades.”
