The 19-year-old singer took on Elton John‘s “Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word,” Pink‘s “Try,” and Emeli Sande‘s “Maybe.”

“I felt this was one of the best performances I’ve seen you do,” judge Mariah Carey said about her first performance. Nick Minaj even called her Miley Cyrus‘ long list twin!

Angie Miller gets a lift on her way to her concert at Hurd on Saturday afternoon (May 4) in Beverly, Mass.

The 18-year-old American Idol finalist was greeted with a parade for her hometown tour and made stops at several radio stations.

The ladies of American Idol chat it up with Octavia Spencer and Ahna O’Reilly at City Year Los Angeles Spring Break: Destination Education event held at Sony Pictures Studios on Saturday night (April 20) in Los Angeles.

Angie Miller, Kree Harrison, Amber Holcomb and Candice Glover posed with members of the AmeriCorps at the event which helped raise $1.3 million to support the education of over 4,000 students who are at risk of dropping out.

“Absolutely LOVED meeting and talking to @octaviaspencer and Ahna O’Reilly from “The Help” tonight! Amazing ladies!!” Angie tweeted.

She added later on, “…and I still can’t believe I met Liam Hemsworth tonight.”
