Angourie Rice goes on a lot of first dates as the star of upcoming flick Every Day and we all know how awkward they can be!
The 17-year-old actress is now spilling on her own awkward first date story when her group date turned into a one-on-one date!
“I did have a bit of an awkward first date. Originally it was a group thing, and we were all going to see Batman Vs. Superman, but everyone else in the group dropped out and so it was just me and this guy and it was a bit awkward,” Angourie told Seventeen.
She added, “They messaged three hours beforehand saying ‘Oh hey, I can’t make it. Sorry.’ So it was a bit awkward, but that’s the most awkward thing that’s happened. So I’ve been pretty lucky.”
Angourie Rice made a funny and startling confession about her new movie, Every Day, during her appearance at Build Series on Wednesday (February 21) in New York City.
The 17-year-old actress stopped by the event with co-stars Debby Ryan and Owen Teague, plus director Michael Sucsy, and while there, confessed that she cancelled surgery to star in the film!
“It was a Wednesday and they called and said that I might have to fly out to LA on Friday,” Angourie remembered. “I ended up cancelling the tonsillectomy and doing it.”
