On advice from a friend: “I remember working with a girl who told me, ‘Don’t worry about the money—do what you love and the money will be there.’ There’s not really anything you can do to force it.”
On why it’s good she’s short: “Here, people are too cool for school, which is fine by me. When I go to more touristy areas, it’s a real bonus being the shorty. I’m friends with Joe Manganiello, and he’s so screwed. He sticks out like a sore thumb.”
On who she’d like to be: “I want to be sharp and funny at 80. I want to be the next Betty White.”

“Beca thinks that a capella music is kind of lame,” the 27-year-old actress dishes in the featurette below. “[and] it’s just her luck that she’s recruited along with a plethora of misfits.”

“That’s [the flick is an] absolutely a good example … of kids on an adventure where the adults don’t know what’s going on and don’t know what the stakes are. So, I love that. And a lot of the additional elements of the movie that my character is not in, I just didn’t picture it being quite so fantastical on such a big scale.”
She continued, “It felt more like a quiet wrap up and I didn’t realize what a crescendo it really was. So, yeah, it was an amazing surprise to see what they ended up doing visually and emotionally at the end of the movie.”
