Ashley Argota is packing up her things again…from NYU!

The 18-year-old actress and student wrote on her official site about taking a break from NYU for multiple reasons. Check out what she wrote on her official site below:

“Anyhoo, like I said, these past few days have been hectic. I flew back to New York City on Saturday morning (early flights, NO BUENO…). The good news? I was greeted by snow!! It was beautiful. The sad news? I wasn’t going back to New York City to attend school again. I went so I could pack my belongings from my dorm room. Because of my possible taping schedule and my starting to record music, I decided to defer my second semester of New York University. I was so bummed to have to make this decision, but am also very eager to come back to Los Angeles for a little while for work.”

Ashley added, “I will soon come back to NYU and we will all be together again! In the meantime… Los Angeles, I hope you’re ready to have me back.”

Ashley Argota and Erin Sanders offer up bright smiles as they attend the 2011 Hollywood Christmas Parade on Sunday night (November 27) in Hollywood.

The Nickelodeon starlets were joined by channel mates and costars Dillon Lane and Ryan Potter.

Ashley, who just hopped on a plane back to the Big Apple this morning, tweeted, “Had a great time with @DillonLane3 in the Christmas parade tonight! Thank you for your sweet comments as we rode by, you guys are amazing.”

FYI: Ryan is also pictured at the Express Yourself Benefitting P.S. Arts earlier this month in Santa Monica, Calif.

Ashley Argota steps out at the premiere of The Greening of Whitney Brown held at the AMC Loews Lincoln Square Theater in New York City on Monday night (November 7).

The 18-year-old actress took a break from her college studies to come out and support friend Sammi Hanratty.

Over the weekend, Ashley performed at the 2011 Kids For Kids Carnival which benefited the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation.

The 18-year-old actress/student tweeted after the event, “ahh! had an amazing time performing here at @EGPAF ! love this event. so fun, great cause. #makeamothersfightyourfight”

Ashley joined families and other celeb guests to raise awareness and funds for the Foundation’s efforts to end HIV/AIDS in children around the world. Over 600 people attended this year’s event, raising nearly $1 million!

In addition to Ashley‘s performance, the carnival featured an African drum performance by the Alvin Ailey Dance Workshop, a t-shirt decorating from American Eagle, thebeloved Disney Reading Room, a celebrity versus child ping pong booth provided by SPiN New York, and a fairy tale dress-up booth from Princess Expressions.

Daniel Radcliffe and Ashley Argota hit up the recording studio as they lay down their tracks for the upcoming Broadway Carols for a Cure CD.

The 18-year-old actress flew from NYC, where she’s in nursing school, to spend the weekend with her friends and family.

“Took a late flight from NYC last night to come and support and surprise friends at an event :)” Ash tweeted.

Ashley stopped by the 2011 Power of Youth event, plus Camp Ronald McDonald For Good Times Halloween Carnival.
