Beau Mirchoff asks Ashley Rickards a tearful question in the mid-season trailer for Awkward.
“They go through a large event together, the whole crew does. Something goes wrong, and they might not be able to…” Beau, 24, told TVLine.
He added, “Who knows if they’ll be able to stay together after it? I’m not saying what happens or who’s at fault, but they’re both going to have to take a look at their relationship and see if it’s what they really want to do.”
Awkward returns this fall on MTV.

Selena Gomez takes a breather backstage before rehearsals for the 2013 MTV Movie Awards on Friday afternoon (April 12) in Burbank, Calif.
“This performance will be the first time I will be singing in a head piece. I’ve been getting used to that,” the 20-year-old actress/singer shared with MTV.
Selena added, “It’s the first time I’ll be singing and dancing at the same time. I’ve done it on tour a little bit, but I’ve never done a full song that’s choreographed, so that’s going to be really interesting for me to do, and hopefully I’ll do a good job because I’m nervous.”
