5 Seconds of Summer have debuted a remix of their song “Lie to Me” featuring Julia Michaels!

The pop rock band – Michael Clifford, Calum Hood, Luke Hemmings, and Ashton Irwin – and the “Hurt Somebody” singer shared the track with fans on Thursday (December 20).

The original “Lie to Me” appears on 5SOS‘s latest album Youngblood.

The new version explores both sides of the relationship, with lyrics like, “Now I wish we’d never met/ ‘Cause you’re too hard to forget” and “While he’s taking off my dress/ I know she’s laying on your chest.”

If that’s not enough, the guys have also dropped a live album, Meet You There Tour Live!, recorded during their headlining 2018 shows.

5 Seconds of Summer get the party going with their performance during 101.3 KDWB’s Jingle Ball 2018 held at Xcel Energy Center on Monday night (December 3) in St Paul, Minn.

The night was extra special for the band, made up of Luke Hemmings, Ashton Irwin, Calum Hood and Michael Clifford because it was their seven year anniversary!

“7 years with my sons,” Ashton wrote on his Instagram. “Thank you for this incredible celebration of life! Thank you for the dedication.”

Luke even got sentimental on his own Instagram, sharing the first pic the band ever took together.

“I’m so glad I met these boys and we chased down a dream with relentless passion,” he wrote.

5 Seconds of Summer is ringing in a major achievement!

The band – Luke Hemmings, Calum Hood, Michael Clifford, and Ashton Irwin – was presented with plaques to commemorate 1 million combined global adjusted sales for their new Capitol Records album Youngblood at The Greek Theatre on Thursday (October 12) in Los Angeles.

They were also honored for having the No. 1 Top 40 chart title track.

In a recent interview, Michael Clifford, Luke Hemmings, Calum Hood, and Ashton Irwin opened up about how they’re learning not to put themselves in a pop-punk box.

“Our purpose as a band is very different than other bands. We’re not necessarily a one-genre band,” Ashton shared with Billboard. “I don’t think anybody really is anymore, but that goes back to who our influences are.”

He continues, “…I think our purpose as a band is to make whatever comes whatever we’re influenced by. We’re not one set thing.”

5 Seconds of Summer has debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 Chart with Youngblood!

The pop band – Luke Hemmings, Calum Hood, Ashton Irwin, and Michael Clifford – took the stage at the 2018 B96 Pepsi Summer Bash held at Allstate Arena on Saturday (June 23) in Rosemont, Ill.

They were joined by Why Don’t We.

The next day, Billboard made the announcement about 5SOS‘s third studio album, which moved 142,000 equivalent album units in its first week. Of those, 117,000 were traditional album sales.

The group beat out Beyonce and Jay-Z‘s collaboration album Everything Is Love, which landed at the No. 2 spot with 123,000 units. Of those, 70,000 were in traditional album sales.

This is 5SOS‘s third straight No. 1 album, following 2015′s Sounds Good Feels Good and 2014′s self-titled debut. They’ve also just become the first Australian act to have three No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200!

Plus, 5SOS remains the only band to debut at No. 1 with their first three full-length studio albums.

5 Seconds of Summer rock out on the Today show in New York City on Friday (June 22).

The guys – Luke Hemmings, Calum Hood, Michael Clifford and Ashton Irwin – performed on the program in support of their new album, Youngblood, which is on the verge of making music history.

Luke and Michael were also seen just ahead of the concert, leaving their hotel with girlfriends Sierra Deaton and Crystal Leigh.

5 Seconds of Summer shared some of their new music while taking the stage at Wango Tango!

The group – Luke Hemmings, Ashton Irwin, Calum Hood and Michael Clifford – stepped out at the event on Saturday night (June 2) at the Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles.

Ahead of the concert, the group opened up about how their musical transformation since their last album.

“Musically, we’re loving what we do still. It sounds a little different. It’s something that we love, and something we want to play for a long time. So, yeah, it’s changed in those ways,” Ashton explained.
