(FYI: Avan and Zoey dated for over five ears, splitting up around January 2017. They have also starred in 2017′s The Year of Spectacular Men together.)
Avan will play Berkeley, “the epitome of the bad boy musician that you would hate for your daughter to fall in love with.”
Here’s the synopsis: “Through comic mayhem that stretches from the White House and through the heartland, the Zombie slayers must face off against many new kinds of zombies that have evolved since the first movie, as well as some new human survivors. But most of all, they have to face the growing pains of their own snarky, makeshift family.”
Zombieland 2 is set to hit theaters on October 11, 2019, 10 years after the original.
Camila Mendes joins the cast of The New Romantic at the premiere for the film during 2018 LA Film Festival held at ArcLight Cinemas on Sunday (September 23) in Culver City, Calif.
Just a few days before, Camila found herself defending her new movie to a Twitter troll who didn’t like the storyline.
“You don’t even know how the story ends, so why don’t you watch the film first and then tell me it’s ‘glorifying’ the life of sugar babies,” Camila wrote back to them.
Check out her tweet below and watch the trailer, too.

Avan Jogia is headed to Starz in a new half-hour comedy series called Now Apocalypse.
Deadline reports that the 26-year-old former Victorious and Twisted actor will star as Ulysses in the upcoming show.
Now Apocalypse is a 10-episode surreal, coming-of-age comedy series that follows Ulysses and his friends Carly, Ford and Severine; it will explore identity, sexuality and artistry, while navigating the strange and oftentimes bewildering city of Los Angeles.
Avan‘s character Ulysses is a recent transplant to Los Angeles, is struggling to find his place in the world.
Something of a thrill seeker, Ulysses admits that he’s always had an attraction to and fear of the unknown and is plagued by recurring nightmares, which he believes are a portent for a vast, sinister conspiracy.
The new flick stars Zoey and Madelyn Deutch, as well as their mom Lea Thompson!
Lea also serves as director and producer, and Madelyn not only makes her screenwriting debut, but she also scored the movie as well!
According to Deadline, the film “will follow a nerdy FBI agent launches his own investigation after his friend dies under suspicious circumstances. Needing help with the case, he reluctantly enlists the help from his estranged father – the legendary, stuck-in-the-80s-but-still-cool-as-hell titular John Shaft.”
If you follow Avan Jogia and Cleopatra Coleman on social media, then you probably already know they are dating. If you didn’t, well now you know!
The cute new couple stepped out for their first public appearance at the 2017 Entertainment Weekly Pre-Emmy Party on Friday night (September 15) at Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood, Calif.
Avan and Cleopatra have been a couple for several months now.
Avan made headlines recently after fans campaigned for him to be cast in the live-action Aladdin movie. While he auditioned for the role, he wasn’t selected in the end.
Cleopatra is best known for her work in Step Up Revolution and the Fox series The Last Man on Earth. She’ll soon be seen in Showtime’s new show White Famous.
