Stars from the new Mean Girls movie musical are in full promotion mode while attending a screening of the upcoming adaptation!

Christopher Briney, Avantika, Bebe Wood and Jaquel Spivey stepped out for an Instagram Creator screening held at Midnight Theatre on Tuesday (January 9) in New York City.

Just the night before, the quartet were in attendance for the world premiere of their new movie, just days before it hits theaters on Friday (January 12). Check out all of the premiere pics here!

Christopher even brought his girlfriend Isabel Machado to the premiere, and they posed for some cute photos together.

If you didn’t know, the new Mean Girls movie is an adaptation of the original movie, as well as the Broadway musical. It was recently revealed that several of the songs from the Broadway show were cut for the new film version.

Angourie Rice and Renee Rapp have kicked off the Mean Girls press tour with just one month remaining until the movie hits theaters!

Tina Fey joined the rest of the young cast for a photo call on Monday afternoon (December 4) at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Also in attendance were Auli’i Cravalho, Jaquel Spivey, Avantika, Bebe Wood, and Christopher Briney.

Here’s the synopsis for the upcoming movie, based on the Broadway musical: “New student Cady Heron (Rice) is welcomed into the top of the social food chain by the elite group of popular girls called “The Plastics,” ruled by the conniving queen bee Regina George (Rapp) and her minions Gretchen (Wood) and Karen (Avantika). However, when Cady makes the major misstep of falling for Regina’s ex-boyfriend Aaron Samuels (Briney), she finds herself prey in Regina’s crosshairs. As Cady sets to take down the group’s apex predator with the help of her outcast friends Janis (Cravalho) and Damian (Spivey), she must learn how to stay true to herself while navigating the most cutthroat jungle of all: high school.”

Tina, who wrote the movie, is reprising her role as Ms. Norbury. The film will hit theaters on January 12 and we have the latest trailer, which wasn’t that well-received by fans.

The long-awaited trailer for the Mean Girls musical movie is finally here, and it is welcoming fans back to high school!

Written by Tina Fey, the musical pulls inspiration from the classic movie that starred Lindsay Lohan, Amanda Seyfried and more young stars back in 2004.

This time around, the movie is also pulling from the Broadway musical inspired by the beloved original screenplay.

It boasts a star-studded cast featuring Angourie Rice as Cady (Lindsay‘s role), Reneé Rapp, Auli’i Cravalho, Jaquel Spivey, Avantika, Bebe Wood, Christopher Briney, Jenna Fischer, Busy Philipps, Ashley Park, Tim Meadows and more.

Here’s a synopsis: From the comedic mind of Tina Fey comes a new twist on the modern classic, MEAN GIRLS. The upcoming Mean Girls movie musical has gained three new stars!

Deadline reveals that Avantika, Christopher Briney and Bebe Wood have all been cast in major roles for the new movie version of the Broadway musical.

Of course, the musical is based on the hit the movie of the same, written by Tina Fey, who also wrote the Broadway musical. She will adapt the musical version for the upcoming movie as well.

Spin star Avantika is getting her own series on Disney+!

The actress has been cast to lead A Crown of Wishes from Disney Branded Television, which is based on the book of the same name by Roshani Chokshi, Deadline reveals.

For those don’t know, “A Crown of Wishes” is the second book in Roshani‘s Star-Touched Queen duology.

Maitreyi Ramakrishnan is the center of attention at the Never Have I Ever season three premiere held at Westwood Village Theater on Thursday evening (August 11) in Los Angeles.

The 20-year-old star posed for photos and got a kiss from two of her love interests Jaren Lewison and Darren Barnet.
