Bailee Madison is all grown up in this new feature from the newest issue of Glamoholic magazine.
The 13-year-old actress chatted about Katie Holmes, new movie Parental Guidance and her charitable heart. Check it:
On her bond with Katie: “I am so grateful to have gotten to work with Katie Holmes! Every time I writ or say her name, a huge smile appears on my fave. She’s such an incredible actress, but most importantly, an incredible mother. She took such good care of me during Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark, and has continued to be there for me and my family. I love her.”
On her Parental Guidance character: “My character, Harper Decker is torn between two worlds; she wants to please her mother (Marisa Tomei) but at the same time, she wants to let loose and be as fun as her grandmother (Bette Midler). On top of that, Harper is also having her first crush, which makes her incredibly awkward. She’s unlike anything I’ve played before.”
On getting involved in Alex’s Lemonade Stand: “When I first started in this industry, my mom and I decided that it isn’t about me, it’s about making a difference. I was searching for a foundation that i could grow with and be equally as passionate about years later. When I came across ALSF and read Alex’s story, I was touched and inspired more than words can explain. I began by volunteering at their stands and shortly after, I got a phone call from Alex’s parents asking if I’d be willing to join their team. I don’t think my mom and I have ever said yes so quickly.”
Bailee Madison gets her first taste of ice cream cake in the brand-new trailer for Parental Guidance.
