Skyler Samuels, Ki Hong Lee and Grace Phipps catch up on BFF time in this new still from The Nine Lives of Chloe King.
In the upcoming episode “All Apologies,” Chloe (Samuels) must now master her new power of sonic hearing. In order to do so, she enlists the help of Alek (Benjamin Stone), who advises her it is not wise to listen on other people’s conversations when not necessary because one day she will hear something she does not like.
Chloe brushes this off, only to overhear a conversation between her best friends, Paul (Lee) and Amy (Phipps), who she comes to realize may not be as supportive of her new life as she had hoped.
“All Apologies” premieres Tuesday, July 5 @ 9PM ET/PT on ABC Family.

In the upcoming episode “Green Star,” Just as it seems Chloe (Samuels) is getting used to her new found responsibilities as The Uniter, she is forced to meet Valentina (Alicia Coppola), the leader of the San Francisco Mai.
To Chloe’s dismay, Valentina informs her that, although the teenager has nine lives, each death becomes more painful than the one before. Chloe also learns that, if The Order’s assassin cannot be stopped, she will be forced to leave her family and friends.

Skyler Samuels gets her fight on in this new still from The Nine Lives of Chloe King.
In the upcoming episode “Redemption,” After attending Xavier’s funeral with her mother, Chloe’s (Samuels) curiosity is piqued when she sees his brother, Gabriel, in a confrontational conversation with some thugs outside the church. It’s clear that he’s in serious trouble. Chloe believes that she owes it to Xavier to help his family, so she tracks Gabriel down and offers to help him.
Meanwhile, Chloe continues to struggle with her feelings for Brian (Grey Damon). She really likes him, but it’s not lost on her that if she kisses him, Brian will end up just like Xavier �” dead.
Still, when Brian shows up at the vintage store where she works and asks Chloe out on another date, she finds it impossible to say no. Complicating the blossoming romance is Alek (Benjamin Stone), who takes his duties as Chloe’s protector seriously. Chloe knows that she needs to end things with Brian before one of them gets hurt.

Chloe King (Samuels) is looking forward to celebrating her birthday with her friends and single mother, just like every other year…that is until she starts developing heightened abilities and discovers she’s being pursued by a mysterious figure. Chloe soon learns she’s part of an ancient race which has been hunted by human assassins for millennia -and that she may be their only hope for ultimate survival.
Struggling to understand and overwhelmed by all she is learning, she wonders how she’ll be able to be a normal girl with an extraordinary destiny. To help Chloe understand the history of the Mai, two of her fellow students, Alek (Benjamin Stone) and Jasmine (Alyssa Diaz), reveal to her that they, too, are descendants of the ancient race. She also learns quickly that the two just may be her best protectors �” and Alek may prove to be something more altogether.
